About Medical Care for Strays

Utkarsh Animal Welfare Movement, through Utkarsh Animal Hospital in Mulund, provides free medical treatment to strays and treats more than 2000 animals every month.

Utkarsh Animal Hospital is a full-fledged, well-equipped facility for the free treatment of all kinds of stray animals. In addition to dogs and cats, the hospital also treats cows, donkeys, monkeys, horses, buffaloes, snakes, birds and more. The hospital is open to any animal which needs medical care.

Quality treatment is available to different ailments including maggot infestation, skin diseases, tick fever, jaundice, accident injuries, spinal injuries, malnutrition, paralysis, cancer, and more. Every month, we treat more than 2000 animals which include around 400-500 major cases comprising surgeries and around 1700-1800 minor cases of illnesses and injuries.
